I have a very efficient metabolism as well. It gets frustrating at times, but we gotta play with the cards we were dealt I guess. I also have made the shakes such a habit that I find I miss them when I don&#039;t have them. Kinda weird, but I&#039;m definitely a creature of habit. LOL Keep up the good work and always remember it&#039;s not just about the weight loss... it&#039;s also about the health benefits! :)

However, I have gotten in the habit of making those protein shakes for breakfast, which has led to more slow steady weight loss (one of my worst habits was rushing out the door w/out breakfast, leaving me famished by lunchtime), so I&#039;m down 8 lbs so far.

In my 20s I weight trained a lot and managed to keep my body fat at a reasonable level but as the years have gone by, well, I&#039;m getting pretty pudgy.
