Mother’s Day is right around the corner. Finding that perfect gift for Mom can be difficult, but I believe you can never go wrong with an item that makes life easier. One such item is a kitchen scale. Not only are they helpful for watching portion sizes, but they are great for recipes that require exact measurements. My experience with kitchen scales hasn’t been the best, until I started using Eat Smart products. I’ve had the opportunity to use 4 of Eat Smart’s scales and I can honestly say I haven’t been disappointed in any of them.
The Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale is a great scale and at a great price. When you first remove it from the box, you may get the wrong impression. It feels light, which makes one wonder about the quality, but so far it’s been a very sturdy scale. Like any other Eat Smart product, it lives up to it’s fantastic reputation. It’s got a wide platform that is great for balancing just about any size bowl or plate. The digital numbers are easy to read (as long as you don’t have the plate or bowl blocking it, obviously), it’s accurate and very easy to use. With only two buttons, there is nothing at all complicated about it. Changing measurement units is as simple as pushing one of those buttons. You can choose from ounces, pounds, grams and kilograms. Also included is a Calorie Factor Booklet, if counting calories is important to your meal plan. Another great feature is that this scale is powered by two AAA batteries, instead of those expensive button batteries. Speaking of expense, despite that fact that this is a quality scale, it doesn’t carry a high price tag. You can pick this sweet little number up for around $25. Not a shabby price at all for something that can make life a bit easier on Mom… or yourself. You can also choose from 5 different colors to match your other appliances, should you care about such a thing.
So if you are looking for a nice gift for Mom, or a little something for yourself, I recommend any Eat Smart product. This is a nice scale won’t break the bank.
