• Wing-Time Buffalo Wing Sauce – it clings to your wings!

The Super Bowl is just around the corner. I can already hear you planning your big party. Obviously you need a Godzilla-sized flat screen TV. I think that’s in the rules somewhere. Then you need awesome food.  This can include a variety of appetizers and dishes, but don’t think they have to be all high-carb fare. Not only can many of your munchies be low-carb, they can also be so delicious that your fellow party buds won’t even know it’s good for them.

One favorite is hot wings.  I can’t think of anything that screams football more than hot wings. (Note: If your hot wings actually scream “football“, you either need to call the press, or slow down on the alcohol.) And thanks to Wing-Time Buffalo Wing Sauce you can have your wings and eat them too.

I currently have the Mild with Parmesan flavor and let me tell you, its good stuff.  It has a unique flavor with a slight kick. Not much, but just enough to feel it and add that little umph you expect in hot wings. But if that isn’t enough for you, there are several other flavors to tempt your taste buds, or burn them completely off as the case may be.

Medium is a more traditional sauce and will remind you to keep a cold one handy since the heat kind of sneaks up on you.

Hot is for the diehard wing fanatics that no longer have taste buds due to hot sauce abuse. Be sure to keep napkins handy. Not so much because wings are messy, but because it’s rude to blow your nose, dry your tears and/or mop your sweaty brow with your best friend’s sleeve.

Super Hot. It’s hot plus habenaro. Do I really need to say more? You’ll need your liquid in the form of an IV, since it’s likely your veins will catch on fire. You may also need to keep a fire extinguisher handy.

Garlic is one of Wing-Times most popular sauce flavors. It’s got that great garlic taste, a hint of parmesan and a good amount of heat. And just think guys, maybe with this flavor you’ll also be protected from those Twilight movies.

The best part of any of these flavors, besides the amazing taste, is that you can enjoy them with absolutely no guilt!  Wing-Time has been making quality wing sauces since 1994, using all natural, preservative free ingredients. These are also gluten free and low in sodium.

Ingredients: Hot Sauce (cayenne peppers, vinegar, salt), water, tomato paste, soybean oil, parmesan cheese (pasteurized milk, rennet, cheese culture, salt), vinegar, salt, xanthan gum, natural butter flavor, spice. Contains Milk

The other flavors are pretty much the same, with only the obvious minor differences.

I give this wing sauce 5 stars. It tastes good and the ingredient list isn’t as long as my tax forms. And while there is a small amount of soybean oil, I don’t feel it’s enough to really be concerned with.  The gluten free and preservative free, natural ingredients are a bonus.

So enjoy your wings and the game knowing you are doing something good for yourself. And avoid your brother-in-law after the game. You know how he gets after eating chili dogs.
