Hey everyone! I wanted to let you know about some new links I’ve added to the blogroll recently, just incase you’ve missed them. But first I want to welcome a new sponsor to Healthy Low-Carb Living!
LowCarbSite.com is a forum dedicating to supporting the low-carb lifestyle. There you’ll find discussions on pretty much any topic regarding low-carb living. They also have a specific area just for Atkins dieters. With over 6,000 members, you are bound to find the support you need. And I want to thank LowCarbSite.com for their support of this blog! Without sponsors it would be difficult to maintain this website and I appreciate everyone who helps keep us up and running. Not only can you visit them through the ad at the upper right hand side, we’ve also added them to our links page under “support”. Go check them out!
Other links I’ve added recently are not necessarily new to the internet, but are websites that are either new to me, or sites I’ve kept forgetting to add.
Carbohydrates Can Kill – Dr. Su’s website, named after his book, is full of great information about health and nutrition. He also has a fun podcast and I’ve been honored to be a guest on his show a couple of times.
Cereal Killer – Alan Watson’s website, again named after his book. Lots of great information for the low-carb dieter.
Controlled Carbohydrate Nutrition – Run by Jacqueline Eberstein, R.N. who worked with the late Dr. Atkins for many years. Lots of science and Atkins info available here.
Diabetes Warrior – If you haven’t heard Steve Cooksey’s story – go read now. Managing his diabetes with diet and exercise alone, he is inspiring as well as educational.
Min Thick and Thin – The blog of Mindy Noxan Innotti, where she talks about her personal low-carb journey. She’s also a co-host with Jimmy Moore on the new Low Carb Conversations with Jimmy Moore and Friends podcast, which debuts tomorrow!
My Low Carb Journey – Hank Garner has had amazing success utilizing the low-carb lifestyle. In five months he’s lost an impressive 82 pounds! Not only does he have a great blog, but he has a fantastic podcast too. I’m telling ya, the man was born to be on the air. He’s a natural. I’ve been honored to be a guest on his show a couple of times and look forward to doing it again sometime!
Richard Feinman – Dr. Richard Feinman is a Professor of Biochemistry at Downstate Medical Center (SUNY) in New York. He’s also on the board of the Nutrition and Metabolism Society. His blog contains lots of research and information. He’s also a great artist and can throughly whoop my tail at Words With Friends.
The Spark of Reason – I’d heard people talk about this blog for quite some time. For whatever reason, I never seemed to get there to check it out. Finally I had the chance to become a loyal fan while reading his fantastic post titled On Taubes and Toilets. Dave writes some good stuff people!
Valerie’s Voice – Written by Valerie Berkowitz, who is a licensed registered dietitian, certified diabetes educator and certified lifestyle counselor practicing for over 15 years. She knows nutrition and has even written a book titled The Stubborn Fat Fix. Great reading!
